Our mission at Monte Sano Baptist Church is to be a church where the Bible is taught faithfully and accurately, disciples are made locally and globally, and our community is impacted physically and spiritually. Whether you are new to the area or have lived in Huntsville for many years, we would love for you to be a part of what God is doing at our church. Codey Cline — Senior Pastor
Codey is the Senior Pastor at Monte Sano Baptist Church. He came to Christ from atheism in 2013 while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He desires to help people believe the gospel daily and walk with Jesus through all of life's circumstances. He loves to see the church finding life in worshiping the Lord together and loving one another well.
Codey, his wife Alexis, and their six children live in Huntsville. In his spare time, Codey enjoys riding his Harley, woodworking, and researching memory.
Dr. Bill Stanley — Elder, Director of Music Ministries
Bill Stanley is the Director of Music Ministries and an Elder at Monte Sano Baptist Church. His desire is that people will be drawn into the holy presence of God through the creative expression of music. Bill particularly enjoys playing and singing lyrics taken directly from scripture.
When not leading worship, Bill works as a poultry veterinarian, with degrees from Auburn University and the University of Georgia. Bill and his wife, Rhoda, have three children and enjoy living on Monte Sano. Bill’s hobbies include woodworking and old car restoration.
Michael Delp — Elder
Michael is an Elder at MSBC and also co-leads the student ministry with his wife, Madelyn. The Lord brought Michael and Madelyn to MSBC in 2018 as newlyweds. Michael desires for believers to grow their relationships with Jesus, and has a burden to share the gospel with those who have not heard.
Michael works as a Mechanical Engineer in Huntsville and lives in Owens Cross Roads with his wife and daughter.
Madelyn Delp — Director of Student Ministries
Madelyn and her husband Michael became members at MSBC in 2018. Madelyn began seminary in 2021. In 2024, she graduated with Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Madelyn and Michael have co-lead the student ministry at MSBC since 2022. They desire to see students deepen their relationship with Jesus and make him known to those around them. They also have one daughter who keeps them on their toes!
Ben Walden — Director of Children's Ministries
Ben serves as our Director of Children's Ministries at MSBC. Ben was raised in Cleveland, GA and was led to Christ by his family. He attended University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) where he received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering in December 2023, and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Aerospace Systems Engineering at UAH. Ben currently works full-time as an engineer in Huntsville and has served as our children's director since March 2025.
Megan Lahue — Church Admin
Megan and her family have been attending MSBC since 2022. She and her husband Mac have four children ranging in ages from 4 to 13, so you can find them spending most of their time with the children and youth departments of the church.
Megan has a background in education and has taught preschool for over five years. In her spare time, Megan enjoys photography and spending time with her family.
