We are currently in the process of finding and hiring our next Senior Pastor of Monte Sano Baptist Church. We are excited to see how God works in and through our church during this transition time. We pray and search expectantly for who God has in store next to lead this church family.

Bill Stanley is the Director of Music Ministries and an Elder at Monte Sano Baptist Church. His desire is that people will be drawn into the holy presence of God through the creative expression of music. Bill particularly enjoys playing and singing lyrics taken directly from scripture.  

When not leading worship, Bill works as a poultry veterinarian, with degrees from Auburn University and the University of Georgia. Bill and his wife, Rhoda, have three children and enjoy living on Monte Sano. Bill’s hobbies include woodworking and old car restoration.  

Michael is an Elder at MSBC and also co-leads the student ministry with his wife, Madelyn. The Lord brought Michael and Madelyn to MSBC in 2018 as newlyweds. Michael desires for believers to grow their relationships with Jesus, and has a burden to share the gospel with those who have not heard.

Michael works as a Mechanical Engineer in Huntsville and lives in Owens Cross Roads with his wife and daughter. 

Madelyn and her husband Michael became members at MSBC in 2018. Madelyn began seminary in 2021. In 2024, she graduated with Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Madelyn and Michael have co-lead the student ministry at MSBC since 2022. They desire to see students deepen their relationship with Jesus and make him known to those around them. They also have one daughter who keeps them on their toes!

Ben serves as our Director of Children's Ministries at MSBC. Ben was raised in Cleveland, GA and was led to Christ by his family. He attended University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) where he received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering in December 2023, and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Aerospace Systems Engineering at UAH. Ben currently works full-time as an engineer in Huntsville and has served as our children's director since March 2025.
